Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Laws

EEO laws prohibit discrimination in the workplace based on race, religion, age, disability, or even genetic information.  Discrimination in your living room is a little problem, but discrimination in the workplace is a big, expensive problem.  And make no mistake about it, discrimination occurs everywhere. After all, companies are made of humans, flawed humans.  So to avoid unfair treatment of perfectly good employees, and to avoid needless, costly, and ugly litigation, enterprise training on Equal Employment Opportunity Laws is essential.  Why is it essential? Well, the EEOC website describes hundreds of discrimination lawsuits.  The court orders against the discriminators in almost every case include mandatory anti-discrimination training for employees.
